I teach Yoga in Carmel, California in the Saraswati lineage, which was founded by Adi Sankaracharya in the 8th century AD as one of the ten classical monk orders in India. Its earliest roots are in Tantra. Its modern limbs comprise the Sivananda and Satyananda schools of yoga. These practices of the yogis of the Himalayas are rare in the West, the yoga of southern India having arrived earlier.
I trained to teach in New York City with Yogi Charu, studying 1:1 in the tradition of parampara, completing two RYT-200 certifications in Classical Hatha and Meditation in 2013.
